Happy Birthday to Me! Dublin Day 2!

24 Nov

We got a free Irish breakfast with our hotel, Needless to say I didn’t eat it all!

We then checked out while I checked my messages!

Tourist thing for a bit:

Coffee! Starbucks. I’m a sucker for Starbucks…yummy gingerbread latte!

We then went to the Guinness factory where I managed to make a pint and got a certificate! I hate beer of any kind but it was so fun to be there and we had a fun time! I had maybe two sips of beer all day!

Lunch at the Guinness  Factory!

Tomato/Basil bread, Lime water, Chicken with mash potatoes, green beans and stuffing, bread pudding. So much food I couldn’t eat it all but it was great.

We went back to the city and met Shelly’s sister where I got a birthday drink!

Celery, Cucumber, and Apple!

After the birthday drink we went to Galway by bus. I spent the 2.5 hours on the bus writing this blog post and taking a nap! Believe it or not Shelly and I stayed up until 3am on Monday night catching up and then we turned around and got up early today, so I’m a bit tired!

Once in Galway we went to see a sold out Harry Potter, which I really enjoyed by the way. Can’t wait to see the last movie, it is unfair I will have to wait so long!

And now it is 11 minutes past my birthday, Irish time! I am loving this trip so far. Tomorrow is the Irish made American Thanksgiving (how cool is that!), I plan to take loads of pictures!

I had an amazing 24th and can’t wait to top it next year!

Happy Birthday!!!! What a great way to spend the day. It looks like so much fun. I love beer so I would have enjoyed making my own and then trying it. The food looks amazing especially the Tomato Basil Bread…I’m not a huge bread eater but I have to say that sounds wonderful. I can’t wait to see how the Thanksgiving dinner turns out. As always I’m looking forward to reading all about it. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
